Treatment has ended. But recovery is not over. Survivorship is a distinct phase with its own nutritional needs, challenges, and opportunities and one of the most under-supported stages of the cancer journey.
Using the Terrain Ten framework, I build your rebuilding plan around your whole body — blood sugar, inflammation, immune function, hormones, gut health — rather than treating your lingering symptoms one at a time.

Treatment has ended. But recovery is not over. Survivorship is a distinct phase with its own nutritional needs, challenges, and opportunities and one of the most under-supported stages of the cancer journey.
My oncology nutrition work is organized around the Terrain Ten, a whole-person framework used in integrative nutrition. Rather than focusing on a single symptom in isolation, it looks at ten interconnected areas of the body : blood sugar, inflammation, immune function, hormones, gut health, and more, that everyday nutrition and lifestyle habits can support. It's a way of organizing personalized nutritional care around your whole body, always alongside, never in place of your oncology team
Blood sugar and insulin regulation are foundational to metabolic health at every life stage, including recovery. We look at your glycaemic patterns as part of building overall metabolic resilience for supporting your terrain.
Chronic low-grade inflammation is common during and after cancer treatment. Supporting a balanced inflammatory response through everyday food choices is part of general recovery and wellness support.
Cancer treatment often depletes the body's nutritional reserves. Rebuilding immune-supportive nutrition is a standard part of post-treatment recovery terrain support.
Hormonal imbalances are common after treatment, especially following breast or ovarian cancer. We look at nutritional support for overall hormone metabolism as part of your recovery picture.
Digestion is crucial for absorbing nutrients from food that help support your energy levels. The gut microbiome influences immune function, inflammation, hormone metabolism, and many more things. Cancer treatments significantly disrupt microbiome balance. Optimizing your digestive function as well as microbiome is a core part of terrain work
Oxidative stress, while a normal part of cellular ageing, can be a huge challenge after cancer treatments. Antioxidant-rich whole foods are a standard part of supporting the body's own repair processes.
Methylation lays the foundation for your body's detoxification pathways. Nutritional genetic testing — via a self-collected at-home saliva kit sent directly to an independent lab — can offer insight into how your body processes certain nutrients.
Chronic psychological stress drives cortisol dysregulation, immune suppression, and inflammation, while slowing down digestion and absorption. Stress management and regulation supports the body overall during recovery.
Environmental toxins, treatment residues, and endocrine disruptors accumulate and affect cellular function. Supporting the body's natural detoxification pathways through whole foods is part of general post-treatment nourishment.
Disrupted circadian rhythms impair immune surveillance, hormonal regulation, and cellular repair. We assess patterns of stress brought on by these to support your recovery.
Cancer survivorship nutrition support is for anyone in remission or beyond treatment whether you finished recently or years ago.

You've just finished chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery and are navigating the immediate after-effects — fatigue, digestive changes, appetite shifts, and a body that doesn't yet feel like your own. This is often the point where nutritional support is hardest to find, even though it's when your body has the most rebuilding to do
It's been months or years since treatment ended, but lingering effects on your energy, digestion, weight, or general wellbeing are still part of daily life — and you want nutritional support that evolves with you, not a one-time post-treatment plan.
Treatment is behind you and you're feeling like yourself again — but the fear of the cancer coming back doesn't fully go away. Between checkups, that quiet worry sometimes called 'scanxiety' can shape how you think about food, your body, and your daily choices. This is about building practical, sustainable nutrition habits that help you feel strong, capable, and in control between appointments — always alongside your regular oncology follow-up, never instead of it.
The physical realities of post-treatment life are often underestimated and rarely addressed with the nutritional precision they deserve.

Ayurveda offers a profound framework for understanding the post-treatment body one that maps with striking precision onto the terrain factors of integrative oncology. The three concepts of Ojas, Agni, and Ama together describe what cancer and its treatment do to the body, and what recovery requires.
Agni is the digestive and metabolic fire that governs the body's ability to transform food into nourishment. Strong Agni means efficient digestion, clear mind, good immunity. Weak Agni means food is incompletely processed creating Ama. Almost every digestive, immune, and metabolic condition in Ayurveda begins with impaired Agni.
When Agni is weak, food is not fully transformed leaving behind Ama, an incompletely digested, sticky metabolic residue. Ama accumulates in the channels of the body, blocks circulation, impairs immune function, and creates the conditions for chronic disease. Clearing Ama is a prerequisite for healing in almost every chronic condition.
Ojas is the refined end-product of perfect digestion the subtle essence that underlies immunity, vitality, hormonal health, and the body's capacity for renewal. It is the ultimate product of strong Agni working on high-quality food. Depletion of Ojas is the Ayurvedic understanding of immune deficiency, chronic fatigue, and the deep exhaustion that follows prolonged illness or stress.
Rasayana is the Ayurvedic science of rejuvenation and longevity — the use of specific foods, herbs, and lifestyle practices to rebuild the body's deepest tissues after depletion. Amla berry, ginger, turmeric and ghee are among the best-known Rasayana substances. Rasayana is not simply supplementation — it is a philosophy of active nourishment and renewal.
Full health history, treatment summary, current symptoms, labs that you share, and Ayurvedic constitutional assessment building a complete picture of where you are and what your body needs most right now.
Identifying which of the ten terrain factors are most dysregulated in your specific case and building a nutritional plan targeted to those priority areas rather than a generic survivorship protocol.
A written plan covering food, meal timing, supplementation (reviewed against your medical picture), Ayurvedic lifestyle recommendations, and clear priorities for rebuilding delivered in stages your body can absorb.
Regular follow-up sessions to review your progress, adjust the plan as your body recovers, and provide sustained support through the different phases of long-term survivorship.
My survivorship nutrition support is designed to work alongside your oncologist, specialist, and GP not as a replacement for medical follow-up care. All supplement recommendations are reviewed against your full medical picture. Your oncology team's guidance always takes precedence. If you are still within the active follow-up period, please share any nutritional plan with your care team before making changes.
